It describes how the app handles information. It does not cover the FM Hosting UK website — for that, please see our main website Privacy Policy.
None. FM Paster does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. We — the developer — receive no information about you or how you use the app. This matches the "Data Not Collected" declaration shown on the app's App Store listing.
FM Paster's job is to read content from your clipboard and write converted content back to it, so you can paste scripts and layouts into FileMaker. All of this happens locally on your device:
FM Paster is designed to help you prepare content for use with AI assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT, or others. The app itself does not send anything to those services. If you choose to copy content into a third-party AI tool yourself, that is your own action, and any data you provide there is governed by that tool's own privacy policy — not this one. We encourage you to review the privacy terms of any AI service you use.
The app requires no account or sign-in and asks for no personal details. It contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking software, does not build a profile of you, and does not track your activity across other apps or websites.
FM Paster includes a built-in feedback option. If you choose to use it to report an issue or request a feature, you decide what to include in that message. We use anything you send solely to respond to you and to improve the app, and we do not share it. Sending feedback is entirely optional.
FM Paster is distributed through Apple's Mac App Store. Any purchase or download is handled entirely by Apple under Apple's own terms and privacy policy — we never see your payment details. Apple may provide us with anonymised, aggregated sales and download statistics that do not identify you. Please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for how Apple handles that information.
FM Paster is a professional developer tool. It collects no data from anyone, including children, and is not directed at children under 13.
If the app's functionality changes in a way that affects privacy, we will update this policy and revise the "Effective" date at the top of the page. Because the current app collects no data, we expect changes to be rare.
